Why Treatment / Surgery With Dr Vicky Gandhi?
He examines patient carefully, does thorough investigation to reach to the problem of patient & then he plans for treatment of patients. After surgeries for fracture, he rarely applies plaster so patient's recovery starts early. It shows his confidence in fixing the fractures. He has acquired very good skills in operating knee joint preservation surgeries like high tibial osteotomy & he aims to preserve knee joint if it is salvageable rather doing knee replacement.
When it comes to arthroscopy surgeries, he performs various kind of knee, shoulder & ankle arthroscopic surgeries like arthroscopic knee ligaments & meniscus repair surgeries, shoulder rotator cuff & labrum repair , ankle heel bump excision etc. He performs knee replacement with subvastus method so after surgery pain is so less that patient starts walking within 24 hours of surgery and he/she doesn't need painkiller injection after 24 hours.
Treatments I Take Care Of
Arthroscopy
Joint Replacement
Arthroplasty, also called joint replacement, is surgery to replace a damaged joint with an artificial joint (made of metal, ceramic or plastic). Providers usually replace the entire joint (total joint replacement). Less often, they replace only the damaged part of the joint.
Ask DoctorComplex Trauma
Orthopaedic trauma is any severe injury to the bones, joints, and/or soft tissue that is caused by an external source. These injuries are often the result of a sudden incident, such as a car accident or fall, but not always.
Ask DoctorSport Medicine / Arthroscopy
Arthroscopy is a minimally-invasive surgical procedure used by orthopedic doctors to examine and treat an injured or damaged joint. Arthroscopic surgery is performed by sending a tiny instrument (arthroscope) through a small cut in the skin.
Ask DoctorKnee & ankle Joint Preservation
Joint preservation is the use of non-surgical or surgical means to preserve a deteriorating joint to delay or avoid joint replacement surgery. Joint preservation procedures reduce the risk of complications from implant surgery and infection.

Ankle arthroscopy is surgery that uses a tiny camera and surgical tools to examine or repair the tissues inside or around your ankle. The camera is called an arthroscope. The procedure allows the doctor to detect problems and make repairs to your ankle without making larger cuts in the skin and tissue.
Ask DoctorShoulder Rotator
Rotator cuff injuries can range in severity from simple inflammation to complete tendon tears. The rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons that surround the shoulder joint, keeping the head of the upper arm bone firmly within the shallow socket of the shoulder.
Ask DoctorCuff Surgeries
Rotator cuff repair is surgery to repair a torn tendon in the shoulder. The procedure can be done with a large (open) incision or with shoulder arthroscopy, which uses smaller incisions.
